Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give Online

Through our online donation platform, you have the ability to set up one-time or recurring gifts. Whether you want to give weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or even yearly, you can set up a recurring donation so you will never forget.

You are able to set up a recurring donation based off your bank account (which is the best option to save us processing fees!), or a credit/debit card. Once it is set up, you will receive an email confirmation, as well as a receipt each time your donation is processed. Obviously, every contribution is tax-deductible to you, and will be used to do ministry at HUMC and around the world. Thanks again for your generosity!

Give In Person

When you attend services at HUMC, giving our tithes and offerings is an important part of worship. In person giving via the offering plate or offering box can be done with cash or check. You can also give securely from your seat in the sanctuary via your smart phone by TEXTING "HUMC" to 1-888-364-GIVE (4483).

Kroger Community Rewards

Do you shop at Kroger? Do you have a Kroger Shopper’s Card (or a Kroger credit card linked with your Shopper’s Card)? Would you like an easy way to make donations to Highland UMC? Do you know about the Kroger Community Rewards program?

The Kroger Community Rewards program is an easy way to support Highland United Methodist Church as you do your shopping. Once your Shopper’s Card is linked to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s card. Here are some directions to set this up (or to review your current settings):
1.
  • Visit the program’s website HERE 
  • You will need to set up a digital account with Kroger and link your Shopper’s Card to your account.
2.
After signing into your account, you can search for “Highland United Methodist Church” in the Community Rewards section.
3.
Click on “Enroll” and this organization will be displayed in the Community Reward section of your account.
4.
Any transactions using your Shopper’s Card number will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Kroger donates annually based on a percentage of your spending.
